Simon Szreter is Professor in History and Public Policy at the University of Cambridge. He has written extensively on the history of fertility, sexuality and birth, and as well as tracing the history of birth and welfare over the last c.500 years, this lecture will consider how this history can inform current policy and practice.
Hosted by the School of History’s Health, Medicine and Society Group. This free lecture is part of a two-day conference at the University of Leeds, and will be followed by a reception. All are welcome.
