This conference will explore the impact of collections on health and well-being and the ways in which museums can evidence their contribution to health agendas.

  • How can museums evidence the impact of their health and well-being work in a way that is meaningful to healthcare practitioners?
  • What funding is available, and how can museums take advantage of new commissioning frameworks?
  • How can museums develop and advocate for their health and well-being work in a sustainable way?

You will hear from representatives within the NHS, the museum sector and researchers from University College, London who will unveil a new evaluation toolkit created to evidence the health and well-being outcomes that result from engagement with museums.

This conference is subsidised by Arts Council England who have helped us to keep delegate fees to £30 per head. To reserve your place, please complete the attached booking form and return to Amy Dewsnap.  Visit the Thackray Museum website for more info.
